Student Wellbeing
The Student Well-being Counsellor, School Psychologist, and School Social Worker are available to support students at ESH Secondary. The Support Department also has links with a range of private practices, professionals and organisations outside of school for specialist advice, information and support. The department also runs social skills and fear of failure courses for students throughout the school year.
Typically, after a referral by the student's mentor, the support coordinator will reach out to the student support team to ensure the right support will be in place.
Social & Emotional Support
Mental well-being plays a big role in the development of youth. Needing social emotional support might be indicated by issues such as social development, bullying, challenging life-events, behavioural changes, stress, anxiety or other mental health issues etc. In collaboration with parents and teachers, our team aims to identify these factors and put a support plan in place.
Social emotional support at ESH is offered in multiple languages.
