The ESH has begun, on a small scale, to plant and harvest vegetables. Kitchen gardens, like this, enable us to promote environmental and sustainability learning. This provides opportunities to grow and produce healthy food and connect our pupils with healthy food and lifestyles.
Well done to those kids who rolled up their sleeves, got down to the dirty work, planted, pruned, weeded and provided the TLC to produce such a plentiful harvest.
We thank our chef, Paulo, who, upon collaboration and discussion with the pupils agreed to make them a delicious soup using the ingredients.
