When you work in ESH's Mathematics Department, you will be part of a multicultural team consisting of 15 passionate teachers in four language departments. About the Role

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:

  • Deliver engaging mathematics lessons, in English, to students aged 11-18, following the European Baccalaureate curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student’s talent is nurtured.

We offer a salary aligned with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement (CAO VO). The salary is a minimum of €3463, a maximum of €5277 for a full-time contract on the LB scale. The salary scale and the step offered will depend on your level of experience. The salary will be pro-rata for par time positions.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics (First-degree/Eerste graad) and full teaching qualification for Secondary Education (recognized by the Dutch Education Authorities (DUO).
  • Currently living in the Netherlands and with the right to work here.
  • Excellent English (C2 level).
  • The ability to speak other European languages is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience teaching in international or intercultural settings is desirable.
  • A creative, inclusive approach to teaching and a willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
